Brad Davis, a native of Daviess County, serves as the Vice President of Business Development at the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation. Prior to his time at the EDC, Brad served as the Vice President of Operations at the Murray Calloway Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC). He has been involved in all aspects of the economic development process, including working with prospects, developing product, and managing projects.

Prior to working in Murray, he spent 28 years at the Purchase Area Development District, as the Director of Community and Economic Development. At the ADD, he worked with local economic development groups, elected officials, chambers of commerce, and state and federal funding agencies.

As Vice President of Business Development, Brad will be primarily responsible for building and launching our entrepreneurship efforts and reactivating the Emerging Ventures Seed Fund. Brad is very excited about returning to Owensboro and working with such a great team. He hopes to help strengthen the entrepreneurial program and improve business development in the community.

Ryan Hodges Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator

Ryan Hodges, a native of Owensboro, is the Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator at the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation. He is a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College where he obtained his degree in Business Administration with a minor in Political Science. Ryan is now enrolled in the University of Southern Indiana’s graduate program where he plans to obtain his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Project Management.

Prior to joining the GOEDC, Ryan worked for the City of Owensboro’s Parks and Recreation Department for over three years filling a variety of roles at the city golf courses, parks, and administrative building.

Ryan is responsible for the day-to-day operations at the GOEDC. He feels very fortunate to work with such a great team that is focused on the growth and success of his hometown.

Jamie Johnson SBDC Business Coach

Jamie Johnson began her role as Business Coach at the Owensboro office of the Kentucky Small Business Development Center in September 2020. Jamie's role provides services such as one-on-one business coaching, training workshops, market research, loan packaging help, assistance with financial projections, and information needed to make informed business decisions.

Jamie earned a bachelor’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication from Western Kentucky University and is a graduate of the Leadership Owensboro Class of 2013.  She has also served as a director on the Girls Inc. and Owensboro Dance Theatre boards. She and her husband Logan have two young sons, Henry and Simon.
