Blackbird Manufacturing is a locally grown company in Owensboro-Daviess County that was formed in 2012 with four employees.  Since then, the company has increased employment to 51.  Recently, the company has made an announcement that they will expand their operations in Owensboro-Daviess County creating 20 full-time jobs.

The company is a commercial stone countertop manufacturer and is focused on providing a domestic alternative to the common Chinese imported stone surfacing products.  Blackbird will leverage their success against the inflated prices on overseas surface materials caused by tariffs.  The company anticipates increased sales and opportunity to continue growing in their market.
