GOEDC’s Jamie Johnson Selected for Leadership Kentucky Class of 2025

The Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation (GOEDC) is proud to announce that Jamie Johnson, VP of Workforce Development, Small Business, & Entrepreneurship, has been selected for the Leadership Kentucky Class of 2025. Johnson is one of only two participants chosen from Daviess County to take part in the competitive statewide leadership program.

Leadership Kentucky brings together professionals from across the Commonwealth representing a wide range of industries and sectors. The flagship program runs from June through December and includes seven three-day sessions held in communities throughout the state. Participants engage in in-depth discussions and immersive experiences on topics such as business and economic development, education, healthcare, agriculture, government, and more.

“This is an incredible opportunity for Jamie to share the story of Greater Owensboro while gaining insights and connections that will continue to benefit our region,” said Claude Bacon, President and CEO of GOEDC. “We’re proud to see her recognized among Kentucky’s emerging leaders.”

The 2025 class will travel to cities including Berea, Pikeville, Paducah, Louisville, Bowling Green, and Lexington. Over the course of the program, participants will engage directly with Kentucky’s thought leaders, elected officials, and changemakers.

GOEDC also congratulates Kelly Armour of Owensboro Health, the second Daviess County leader selected for this year’s class.
