About Michael Antonelli

Michael Antonelli is a Market Strategist for Baird Private Wealth Management. Through his writing, events, and media appearances, he educates and encourages investors to focus on why they started their investment journey rather than solely concentrating on what their investments are doing at any given moment. He began his career in the back office of trading firms and was recruited by Baird in 2007 to serve as an Equity Sales Trader.

Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Purdue University and later received his MBA from the University of Chicago. In 2010, he began writing a daily email to international clients explaining what happened in U.S. markets overnight, which later evolved into his widely followed Bull and Baird commentary. As a member of Generation X, he often draws on historical parallels to help investors understand market cycles and keep today’s fears in perspective.
