The Kentucky Association for Economic Development (KAED) is an organization of stakeholders dedicated to strengthening prosperity in the Commonwealth. The Association’s membership is comprised of over 700 members consisting of economic development organizations, Chambers of Commerce, state Cabinets and Agencies, local governments, utilities, universities, quasi-governmental organizations, and professional service firms. With a mission to enhance professional capacity to accelerate economic development, the KAED service portfolio includes education, advocacy, domestic and international business development marketing, consultative services, networking forums, and more. KAED has recently elected four new Directors to the Board.
New Directors, elected by the membership to the 13-member full Board include the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation’s very own President/CEO, Mrs. Brittaney Johnson. Brittaney feels honored to be appointed to the KAED Board of Directors and is looking forward to beginning her service in January 2021. Other new elects to the Board include Kimberly Rossetti, VP of Economic Development at Northern Kentucky Tri-ED; Amanda Davenport, Executive Director of Lake Barkley Partnership; and Lucas Witt, Managing Director of Economic Development at Fortune Solutions and Licensed Realtor at Fortune Realty.
